The situation
A powerful story of a Menopause Survivor,
NLP Practitioner & Hypnotherapist

Two women who met virtually, both living and understanding menopause firsthand. The good, bad, and the ugly.

AJ had already done the hard inner work of reinvention. She was moving into a clear direction: menopause coaching, driven by how traumatically menopause had affected her own life, and how certain she was that she could help other women suffering in silence.

But her brand was left behind. Not reflecting her new niche. Her story, the most powerful thing she had, was hidden. Even her visuals worked against her: she had a lighthouse in her logo, but didn't realize what it could represent. The value wasn't in making her site prettier. It was in seeing what she couldn't.

Women in menopause are drowning, losing themselves, not recognizing the person in the mirror. AJ had a lighthouse and didn't know why. I did. A lighthouse is what guides you home when you're lost at sea. That became the organizing truth of her whole brand: the drowning woman on the homepage is what menopause feels like; AJ is the light that guides you through. That insight didn't come from a template. It came from weeks of listening to how she talks, how she moves, how she helps, until I could see the whole person.

The pivot: the need for a niche and new language
We led with the story: human first, AI second.

Making bold choices and how we got there:

  • Start with the problem, the feeling, the frustration

  • Creating a connection with women who recognize themselves in it

  • Take them through the honest journey of AJ

  • No sugarcoating. That honesty is exactly what sets AJ apart

  • AJ's personal story and the unique expertise she brings to the table

  • Finding AJ's mission, vision, voice, and purpose

  • Conducted competitive research to find her unique positioning

  • Defining a look and feel, leaning into the unique version of her

  • Optimized her website to reflect a language that is unmistakably hers

Using AJ's story, my expertise, tools, and AI to work smarter, not harder

Ownership. Ready to scale.
A polished website and a foundation we keep building on.

AJ Philp, menopause coach, NLP practitioner and hypnotherapist

AJ now shows up as who she actually is.

A menopause survivor guiding other menopause women through how they can become survivors, with a brand as honest and unflinching as her work. She didn't get a prettier website. She got the one that finally tells the truth she'd been carrying all along.

It's a foundation we keep building on. AJ is writing a book, and when it's ready, we'll build the full launch campaign around it. That's the point of doing the deep work first: once a brand knows exactly who it is and whom it serves, everything that follows is built on solid ground rather than starting from scratch.

What we build next just extends the truth we've already found. Stay tuned for the book launch, the next chapter in a brand built to keep growing.

AJ's feedback

"Following Monica’s guidance, I rebranded to Menopause by AJ, and that decision alone marked the beginning of a remarkable new chapter.

From our very first consultation, Monica approached the process with incredible depth and intelligence. Rather than rushing into aesthetics, she took the time to ask thoughtful, strategic questions about me, my business, my audience, and my vision.

At first, I wondered where it was all leading, but very quickly I realized I was in the hands of someone who truly understands that great design begins with clarity, purpose, and psychology."
